Don't underestimate the liberating feeling of being completely freed from any and all responsibility. The longer the absence, the more likely this is to happen. Of course, I can't guarantee that. The identity part might be stronger than the liberation feeling.

I agree with this. I mean, I completely understand the reactions people are having and I'm not going to begrudge anyone who left or is still really angry. Everyone needs to process it their own way. However, I feel that the organization that I had so much fun with has already grown better than the dumbasses of old as a whole, and deserves a chance to grow again. If they don't, if Mittani sneaks back in after 6 months like some of you say he will, then I'll cop to you being right and likely will be out the door. I'm a total nobody in game who occasionally says dumb poo poo in elysium, so feel free to ignore me, but that's how I personally feel about this whole situation. That being said, Calanthe for Waffe CEO. Just don't make me do mandatory paps and you'll do just fine.

I think we should focus on mocking on the absolute weapons naming stations as if the Mittani is the victim. Let’s not lose sight of the simple fact that he openly posted the kind of dreadful poo poo in public multiple times that would have got anyone fired in eve or real life. It's not an excuse but I drift in and out a lot, take months-long breaks, and play at work so if something happened in elysium or on the forums it probably went right over my head, then the rest of this poo poo happened and now we are here. I have a lot of problems dealing with personal conflict, but this entire situation has prompted me to try to do better when I see dumb poo poo happening. As for the station renaming, did you post screenshots earlier? If so or if you can tell me where they are I'll post something on the forums or PM someone and see what happens. Maybe they got changed already, but if not that's worth calling out.

I dont know how many of you remember this but after Mittani had his first public self immolation with the threadnaught and the legal threat from CCP, he was incredibly unpopular and even the goonwiki categorized him as a villain/insane former CEO with a good riddance. "Hes been logged off for almost a week! Hell never come back into power!" is, historically speaking, false. He should be banned both in game and from services, anything else is leaving the door propped open

This would be good for literally everyone involved, but it isn't mutually exclusive with the current leadership saying "What Mittani did was not ok, he is blacklisted". I'd argue strongly against anyone suggesting it isn't necessary if he's gone- because the non-zero amount of people championing him still would be concerning to me as a leader
