one thing i never learned in EE undergrad was how heat works. i got a little of the ideal gas law stuff but to this day i have no idea how insulation and heat conductance and radiant heat work and i wish i did according to my degree plan i apparently took "mechanics and heat" at some point but i have absolutely no memory of it, probably because i was so traumatized by the electromags that came after
