It was a really long walk but my aunt would give us $0.50 each and we'd both come home with a bag of candy. They always sucked and tasted like chalk but cigs were super cool in the 80s. candy cigs made little me feel like a badass. we had a place with these wooden bins with penny candy and $1 could buy a fortune in tootsie rolls and smarties and whatever you call those caramel things with the white sugar stuff inside. also the comic rack back when new comics were 65 or 75 cents. riding your bike to the store and feeling independent, pure nostalgia on this friday

I was supposed to sell a gym today. The buyer kept mentioning it was a bday present for their son and they were so excited to be getting it, how important it was that I was selling it for him, etc. Eventually I told them to knock it off and they blocked me. Lmao. I'm gonna take a 6 pack of lovely beer the maid found home and drink that on the deck at 7:30 am.

Found out my girlfriends' sisters' husbands' dad came out of remission into Stage 3 cancer yesterday, and they might be moving to take care of business. If that happens, we're totally gonna ditch my idiot landlord and move to a way nicer part of town for the same price, and be down the street from my brother. Not the greatest circumstances, but silver linings, etc. So I came home to my brothers' house, who I am housesitting for, and took a fat rip out of his bong because I am so tired of living in the hood and that's a good way to start the weekend. Is it just me or was this work week like actually the length of 2 work weeks? Oh well time to half rear end through the work day and then crush some seltz but not too many, going to crush responsibly cause got to get up early to take puppy to the vet for his last puppy shots (thanks Biden)
