Seems kind of dickish and ineffective to kill most people in NYC and do nothing to the rest of the world when NYC is responsible for 1% of the garbage in the ocean. Even in an "ends justify the means" way, getting rid of that 1% doesn't actually make the ocean cleaner or stop the other 99%. He should either be killing all surface dwellers or making them agree to a global commitment to clean up the ocean.

Namor looks badass and I love that we're going to see some of his past. Making him a complete three-dimensional character instead of just the next villain to introduce then dump is a great idea. Like yeah, Namor's an rear end in a top hat, but he's also not wrong about a lot of things.

So my wife had a thought In the BP trailer Angel Bassett mentions that "my entire family is gone". We know T'Challa is dead, but don't know how that is being handled in the story. Are they going to kill off Shuri because of problems with the actress, and they're putting it right out on main street because, gently caress her?

I'm assuming Namor attacks partly because Wakanda has been weakened.
