(Three minis are not specifically Mordheim but fit the aesthetic perfectly, them being the jezail guy, the jester and the middle magister.)

Incredible work

Edit: my two missile launcher Scouts came in and I have two shotgunners in the mail, so I currently stand at:

1 Sergeant, bolt pistol and chainsword
2 CCW/ BP
1 Heavy Bolter
2 Missile Launchers
2 Shotguns

I think I’m set for heavy weapons as most lists suggest a HB and ML or two ML. Should I focus on obtaining some Bolter guys in the future?

Gotta go to the books for that. The current marine codex and supplements make it pretty clear that the marines are Bad Dudes but the marketing materials are always going to be cool action hero time

Legal but douchey. Consider swapping one or two aberrants for acolytes and giving them gear appropriate to their role. You'll likely have to drop another aberrant to equip them. Necromunda is not a competitive game, it's a narrative game, to be played for laughs in a campaign with like-minded nerds. If you want to kill people with your models + mind try the current Kill Team, it's also excellent for different reasons.

Generally avoid giving your Necromunda dudes identical equipment, not only is it boring and risks being gamey, it also makes it really hard to remember which guy is which

you don't have to worry about genestealer cults being too OP. they're about as bad as current gangs get.

that said, you have three neophytes who have no weapons whatsoever, and no champions. this is a gimmicky list that will be very fragile in its main gameplan, and will get straight up rolled by better melee gangs like goliaths, corpse grinders, or slave ogryn.

Yeah, figuring out charging and positioning is a doozy.

It is. I love WM, but IMO that's the worst/most difficult part of the game. It gets really bad when your unit is in column, then has to form a battleline, but LOS is somehow blocked for a stand, so it just falls in behind the first stand that charged. Things get really weird with the LOS rules in the game.

Seems fine, but I don't have the Squats book so I don't know the weapon stats (how Ironhead guns differ). The only thing I'd change is maybe lose one armorless ganger and add a couple melee focused juves. Right now you only have two people who can melee, and one you don't want to lose probably. With your small movement, you are much more likely to get charged than be the one charging, so having some disposable bodies you can put as meatshields around your other people is not a bad idea. That said, it's Necromunda, so if your list feels cool to play, then it's a good one!

Played my first game of kill team for the league at my LGS and eked out a victory. The Florida Men vs Phobos marines

Acolyte, Plasma Gunner, Chosen, Heavy Gunner (running missile launcher, but modelled with a chain cannon because come on it's so cool looking), Icon Bearer, and Butcher. All with mark of nurgle. The free crit save is so good with them and it's so awesome to get to freely use their strat ploys each round. Doing a mix/match of the other gods is probably better but i'm thoroughly enjoying how tough these guys are.

It was mission 3.1 and I'm kinda proud of this board I came up with on the spot with my random terrain from the box sets. The phobos player definitely had some fun on this board with their insane mobility.

Can't wait to get more games in.

I'm finally starting my group's first Necromunda campaign (running Dominion) this weekend :toot:

It's just four of us, but I'm not sure what to do to end it. Should we stop at a certain gang value? Just play a certain number of campaign weeks and hand out Triumphs? What's worked best for you folks?

I am running my first campaign (which is also the first campaign I have ever played in) and we are doing fixed number of "Game Weeks", which is two battles (or one issued challenge) per player. So yeah, there will be four game weeks in the takeover phase, and then it's over and the Triumphs go out.

You'll have a blast. I'm really, really loving Necromunda both as a game and as campaign system. Hearing people talk about how it was a "game of cool moments people talk about for weeks after" here is what got me to try it, and they were spot on.

Not sure where to post this, but I started assembling a sisters kill team tonight. The sisters multi part box is awesome, heaps of options, heaps of variety pieces. The sisters box is awful, heaps of pieces that look almost the same, and the bodies are all weird fiddly sub assemblies that have super awkward gaps or joins later pieces fit to. I partially assembled two models in an hour.

The Sisters out of the combat patrol are certainly mono-pose. They're the same sprues that were in the "first plastic sisters" box a couple years back.

Yeah, the mono-pose sucks for kitbashing, but you get some unique models out of that. Like the flamer sister over a charred plaguebearer, or the one holding the stormbolter has extra box mags on her back.

Part numbers are by model instead of by how they are on the sprue. So like Marine 1 will be parts 1-6, or whatever.

Having parts be numbered by sprue location would be way better.

LOL, I mentioned this once when Cursed City came out and compared GW's mess of poo poo sprues with parts smeared randomly over multiple sprues with little logic to gunpla sprues and got yelled at by nerds.

I get that they can't be neatly arranged and spaced like gunpla parts, but come the gently caress on, make the numbering make loving sense and be easy to locate parts, that's not loving hard.
