Part of it is that they’ve dispensed with the distinction between fantasy and reality. They get a thrill out of all this stuff and enjoy behaving as if it’s true, but they can drop it just as fast as they pick it up and for the most part don’t change their behavior in light of it.

I have a male relative who is deep into this stuff, and the last time I saw him he was really upset about Biden stealing the election with forged ballots, but he still plans to vote in the midterms and still goes to work every day and lives his life like normal. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding something fundamental, but if I thought a coup had taken place and that the sitting American president had seized power illegally, I wouldn’t vote and I would probably live my life differently.

Yet I guess I do think American democracy doesn’t work and that the 2000 election was a subversion of democracy, and I have just resigned myself to that. But I don’t start barking like a mad dog about it once an hour.

That's because you have to make actual sacrifices to back up your convictions, and they want to have it both ways. Another example of this is that a lot of them will yell and scream about vax mandates in their jobs, but few will deliberately let themselves get fired in protest. And if they do resign/leave it was typically something they were going to do regardless. Very few people in a comfortable stable job they like are going to torpedo their career on principle, regardless of what they say or claim to believe.

She also did an expose series where she went onto campuses in disguise to ask people what they thought of gun girl, only to reveal that she is gun girl when they said she sucked. Problem is eveybody just then said it to her face lol.

I believe the holiday party pictures in question were actually when she travelled to the InfoWars HQ to do something with Millie and it turns out that either Millie lives in or InfoWars provided a completely unfurnished apartment except for a single TV on the floor like they were hanging out in some trafficking spot or black site

Agree. That's what I meant when I said there's no loving bottom to it. Media in general is centered around feat and sensationalism but RWM takes it to a whole new level where, when you wake up till the time you finish dinner you start with the expectation of poo poo Liberals Do that ruin your life and close with whatever Tucker Carlson gets on about. I think they anticipate and look forward to that morning adrenaline jolt, then listen to it all loving day in their cars and cubicles and end their day with god knows what.

My dad wasn't so much into the anger part of it as much as the fear element and kept a lot of guns laying around waiting for the "n****r revolution" so he could finally use all that ammo and defend his apartment condo and TV. He was also very traditional, hated change and was the type to get worked up bout piercings, tattoos and dyeing ones hair back when that kinda started. Carson's was about what a wild, out-of-control, violent, drugged-up hellraiser he was a teenager, including pulling a knife and stabbing someone, until he found the Light Of Christ and was saved and became a world-class neurosurgeon. He repeated these stories over and over again in right-wing Christian circles, and everyone took it at face value.

When he ran for president, he told those same stories, and reporters went and investigated, and when they contacted people who knew him growing up, every one of them rolled their eyes and said Carson was a quiet and studious mama's boy who always had his nose buried in one book or another.

One kind of funny thing about right wing discussions is this feeling of collective helplessness they all exhibit. I'm guessing this is why there isn't even more stochastic violence-most of them are nervously looking around waiting for someone else to do something. Regardless of their long term effectiveness, the riots in 2020 TERRIFIED chuds. For all their tough talk and threats they were scared shitless that protests or riots would kick off where they lived.

Oh god yes. I remember cancelling so many reservations from my 'this town exists only because tourists can't help coming to waterparks and spending 40 bucks for a cheap t-shirt on 'vacation'" based water park because of riots that were going on a good hour away. Most concerned questions were from military and police officers. This town is surrounded by small towns full of chuds. They weren't scared of getting corona in the heady days of the summer of 2020, but riots? Horrified.

If anyone as much as tried to wave a sign board around they'd have half the county cops escorting them out of town.

FOX & Friends had to massage and explain away poll numbers showing that a majority of Republican voters don't want him on the ticket so as not to hurt big baby's feelings

Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Begs Trump Not To Get Mad At His Show Over Bad Poll Numbers, Please, Sir!

“Fox and Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade tried to preemptively shield his show from ex-President Donald Trump’s wrath in an extremely dignified display on Thursday morning.

“Fox and Friends” co-host Steve Doocy read aloud a new CNN poll showing that 55 percent of GOP/GOP-leaning voters wanted someone other than Trump to run in 2024, up six points from CNN’s previous poll on the issue at the beginning of the year.

And so, Kilmeade interjected to make sure it was well-understood by any certain, idk, ex-presidents who may be tuning in to the show that “Fox and Friends” is not, repeat not, responsible for those unhappy figures.

“If the former president’s watching, you should know, those are just the numbers you’re relaying,” Kilmeade told his co-host. “You didn’t come up with those numbers.”

An awkward Doocy said that it was an interesting poll regardless, and “that’s why we just talked about it.”

“And they are right as often as Halley’s Comet comes by,” Kilmeade snarked.

Doocy, visibly taken aback by the extent of the lickspittling going on on the other side of the couch, checked to make sure his co-host wasn’t trying to discredit their own show on air.

“So you’re just saying all we talked about for the last four minutes is not accurate?” Doocy asked.

“I’m just saying, Donald Trump is watching,” Kilmeade replied. “And if Donald Trump is watching, just let him know we didn’t come up with that number. That’s what the poll said.”

The Fox host also tried to cast doubt on the accuracy of the survey by pointing out its small sample size.

“362 registered voters,” he remarked. “It’s not exactly 340 million.”

Kilmeade’s serious commentary came several days after Trump threw a fit over the show’s previous coverage of his poll figures.

Actually, almost all polls have me leading all Republicans & Biden BY A LOT. RINO Paul Ryan, one of the weakest and worst Speakers EVER, must be running the place.
