Unrelated to anything really but I'm in northern Serbia and I'm shocked how cheap labor is here. Yesterday I had a washing machine fixed for €2.50 and a flat tire fixed in a tire shop for €4.20. It would probably cost 10x in Zagreb, Croatia. Can any EE goons match these prices?

A couple of years ago I had to spend a couple of weeks in Serbia (Novi Sad), and it was dirt cheap then. I was really surprised, as I am Hungarian. I did not expect to pay a fraction of the money for everything, just by crossing the border.

Looks like the fires that have been raging since last Monday have been put down, now there around 240 firefighters still there if anything goes wrong. https://www.rtvslo.si/okolje/na-terenu-ostaja-se-240-gasilcev-odpoklicali-vse-tuje-helikopterje-in-letala/635202 Huge props to the firefighters and everyone else who fought against these.
