Would it be a dick move to mention they kind of shelfwarmed here and I walked past them a few times? I assume the local  eventually got wind of how hard they were to find in the states and bought up what was left to resell

Oh man, Smyth's have discounted Kingdom Galvatron from £45 to £30. And Legacy is £54 despite being the exact same toy! I don't really like Galvatron's design, but if any of you have been waiting for a big discount, go for it.

Legacy is also guaranteed to have the fixed shoulders. Unrelatedly, I got Motormaster in. Forget every aesthetic criticism or philosophical objection you've had to the menaskeleton play pattern. This toy is incredible. It evokes the Fire Convoy emotion. It is a Combiner Playset with immaculate handfeel and tolerances. Even with just Drag Strip this is one of the coolest toys Hasbro has put out in ages.

The greys are a little darker than the originals, from reference photos I've googled, and the stickers included bring the look even closer though the thigh ones might get ripped via transformation. The ones that go on top of the cockpit are a bit fiddly, also. These stickers aren't line Toyhax's, there is no opportunity to move them around a little before the adhesive takes, so I screwed up the roof.

Just finished watching a playlist of the CG promotional videos Takara has been doing for the Diaclone Reboot line and man I can really feel the urge to buy really expensive plastic rising, currently trying to save up for an electric bike or scooter so I'm ignoring the urge for now* but I can definitely see it emerging in the future to bring me joy/cause me problems *except maybe a potentially really good deal I spotted for one of the Gridman crossover sets that I might go for if the shipping isn't ridiculous

I picked up Waspinator for cheap in Game yesterday, and I guess I might be the universe because I think I kinda... hate him? Robot mode is good so I think it's probably just the transformation. Plus I think he has the misconstructed shoulder issue like Galvatron because you can't get the yellow sides on the outside in wasp mode... maybe I'm just getting old and kuppy.
