Warner Bros cancelled Batgirl, will that prompt Disney to cancel She-Hulk. Can they though?

i love the science stuff in For All Mankind, but holy poo poo the writing is terrible and i'm getting sick of it. i'm wrapping up season 2 and it feels like every character's motivation has turned on a dime unexpectedly. idgi

Agreed, like, no poo poo people aren't passionate about there being no god anymore, that's the point and that's why New Atheists sucked so bad

frankly it's simply epic that pretty much all the live-action kids' television i watched as a kid was nightmare torture for the actors

and what's even more epic is that this seems to happen a lot with kids' tv!!

maybe kids should just not appear as actors in anything, ever

yeah that’s really weird unless Tom has some sort of a young actor mentorship program with chaperones and a bunch of other kids there. very weird. she was talented sure but like I’m not trying to hang out with a 14 year old unless it’s a tax write off or I’m babysitting my nephew

I don’t understand why there isn’t a Nickelodeon theme park that isn’t rides or shows or anything, you just get to go through the set of LotHT or Double Dare seeing if the challenges really were as easy as you thought they were, or climbing the aggro crag and playing those stupid green screen arcade challenges. I remember being so frustrated watching them as a 10 year old cause it seemed like the kids should have won a lot more often than they did

there was a good Defunctland about the Disney equivalent of Discovery Zone. The idea was basically to create a miniature Disneyland in every city in America, but at some point they realized it was cheaper + just as effective to build just the Gift Shop part in a mall and call it a Disney Store. Now we don't even have those anymore!

I think trampolines are easier to clean and there’s less chance of a kid getting their foot caught in a cargo net and tearing their ACL

Yeah I went to one of those trampoline places with my nieces a while ago, kids flying around willy-nilly. Curious how many dislocated shoulders they get

found a decent article, it mentions that the novelty dies off quickly and modern places still exist but are more modular with their playscapes and rotate them out to keep kids interested
