frankly it's simply epic that pretty much all the live-action kids' television i watched as a kid was nightmare torture for the actors and what's even more epic is that this seems to happen a lot with kids' tv!! maybe kids should just not appear as actors in anything, ever

I remember being so frustrated watching them as a 10 year old cause it seemed like the kids should have won a lot more often than they did

there was a good Defunctland about the Disney equivalent of Discovery Zone. The idea was basically to create a miniature Disneyland in every city in America, but at some point they realized it was cheaper + just as effective to build just the Gift Shop part in a mall and call it a Disney Store. Now we don't even have those anymore!

There's still plenty of "trampoline parks" and other similar Generic Kids Activity Places out there. I think there's been a bit of a resurgence.
