You can't count all the match types because they're probably going to be adding poo poo for a while. I recall them (or maybe just some random person on this forum?) saying they could only launch with a 50 character roster, and will add things over the course of a couple years. It's not unreasonable to assume that's going to be the same thing for match types.

I genuinely do hope JR is on commentary, fucks up names often, and get surly if your match is bad. Story mode should just be text with Star Fox SNES-like voices for the wrestlers

Wrestling Empire. Its goofy as hell but the controls are pretty simple and you can absolutely button mash your way through it without too much issue and you'll the hang of actually doing moves pretty quickly. It's also legit one of the funniest wrestling games you'll play because it goes from 0 to absurd very, very quickly

WWE Battlegrounds is pretty simplistic and I had a decent amount of fun with it. Unfortunately, it only has 5 movesets between all the characters and like most modern WWE games, once you memorize all the animations you'll know exactly when to counter, so CPU battles become easy and online battles last forever. Retromania Wrestling and Action Arcade Wrestling are fine if you get them on sale, but don't go for much outside the old school 2D wrestling game style. Really can't go wrong with MDickie like everyone else said.

And there's weird & wonderful mods for No Mercy, remember someone doing an ROH vs TNA mod that had a totally bugged out 6 sided ring. But feel like if someone knows enough to have played Fire Pro they probably know No Mercy. Maybe that is my age showing though
