While there are exceptions, slow and quiet seems the norm for federal criminal investigation and has been for years, for all that our internet-poisoned brains demand instant gratification.

I remember during the Mueller investigation there would be a new FBI raid seemingly every week on some Trump stooge like Manafort or Stone and they would just come out of nowhere it's not like they were announced beforehand. I'm pretty sure that's normal operating procedure for the DOJ.
