Would’ve been fascinating to see a cast member have to play a version of their character as portrayed by Yu after Erika killed them and left the show. Obviously the differences in abilities would reveal it mechanically, but who would’ve been the easiest assimilation? Orym maybe?

The talk about Morrigan took me to Wikipedia, and apparently one of the proposed etymologies is from, essentially, maere + rigan, meaning terror/nightmare queen. So while Fearne's folks have been hanging around with a Nightmare King, Fearne has been spending time in a weird time bubble with a Nightmare Queen.

My guess would be that if Erika did merk one of them it'd be in a private session, and when the other players came back she'd just be gone. Have Erika on an earpiece piping in instructions to the player in question and they try to "be normal" while doing what erika tells them.

I mean, it’s not exactly the same, but I know the Army and casinos are prolific advertisers on podcasts with auto-insert ads, so I can see someone having an objection to taking advertising money from them for what they represent, regardless of how much money they offer. And I’m sure there are plenty of other potentially objectionable sources of ad-based revenue. Plus there’s the whole Wendy’s thing. So maybe it’s just a thought of “money > anything is not great without due diligence”? But I don’t want to presume someone else’s opinion.

In fact that thought was what I was dismissing with the caveat that there's a limit that isn't the same as the person who originally cared about cash app. They get loving buckets of cash from AMAZON, for fucks sake.

I may have come off a little more antagonistic than I intended but I do think there are a subset of critters that will turn a blind to eye to things they probably shouldn't because of who is involved. As was pointed out though it's not just payday loans, amazon is in there too. They probably get gently caress all in comparison from Sam's bits to what they get from Amazon so I guess it's a wonder why they aren't a bit more selective about what they do advertise when they do it.
