I recall in studies on this, they said going after the extremely rich was what used to fund the irs before budget cuts. Not going after poor plebs. So expect freepers to play victim when they investigate billionaires instead.

It continually pisses me off that even though I love Bernie, he's so capitalist he'd not even get into a genuine socialist party, yet the media constantly portrays him as an extreme leftist socialist when he's a tiny blip left of center - whereas people like Lapierre or McConnel are very much to the right of virtually all of their constituents and the overwhelming majority of Americans, and they are presented as "center right".

Actually FR is superior to any and all forum sites and interfaces I have seen, besides not loading or trying to load multitudes of Network Requests mentioned in my above post. The reason for less views is that the US is increasingly post-Christian, plus the domination of mobile devices and the vanities of TikTok and the like, while Google and the like just don’t go for this mid/late 90s web design and functionality. At least if conservative.

You definitely have a point with mobile because FR is useless on a phone and there are very few websites that aren’t responsive these days. RWD - Responsive Web Design, that is, the websites respond to screen size and use CSS code to rearrange and resize things to fit. It adds some kb in size for page load but anything in kb is almost nothing.
Some people, even older adults, use a PC at home but want to be able to check in by day with a phone and it’s expected for a website to work on a phone these days because 99.9% of them do.
I’ve built plenty of websites and they all load as fast as FR while having modern functionality. I’m a member of quite a few other forums that have as much activity and they load just as fast while having some style and more functionality. Oh, and they don’t go down once or twice a year for a entire day either nor does their ssl/https status.
I’m not saying FR should have all the functionality. Some of it requires connecting to the likes of twitter or facebook in a way that allows tracking. Of course all images on FR are sourced from some other website already.
A post edit screen where you don’t have to type in html to change text size or color, italics, bold etc would be pretty easy and not require third party connections. That’s been pretty standard fair for well over a decade now.
Maybe choose an FR page font instead of letting it be whatever the end user’s default browser font is. Not everyone knows how to change their browser’s default font and the default can be downright ugly.
Use of Open Graph would be easy. (og:title) automatically pulls in the title of an article. OG is also used for author, date, website name etc. Just fill in the url and FR could pull in the rest and auto fill those fields that we have to manually fill in right now when posting a thread. It doesn’t introduce any tracking or cookies and pretty much every website we get articles from uses it. Once again, it’s a very standard thing that’s been around for years.
So, I’m not saying FR needs bells and whistles. Just the very basic features that do not cause any bloat or introduce tracking or set cookies. All it would do is improve the members’ experience and reduce the hassle. Some people don’t even post threads because it’s too difficult and some remain read-only/lurkers because when they try to post, it ends up garbled because FR software thinks it sees html sometimes even when there is none.

Maybe a bit of a derail, but I'm curious about the age demographics of some of the other extreme right-wing places. Patriots-dot-win, for example, started as the Pro-Trump reddit that got booted off subreddit after January 6th. As a reddit board (that posts a poo poo-ton of 4chan memes), you'd expect it to skew pretty young. But I've lurked there for material for threads like these, and my suspicion is that all the young people have left and all that remains is the middle-aged (and a few Olds) who are role-playing as young. You see them calling each other Pedes and making memes with Pepe the frog in them, but if you actually look at the comments, it's filled with references to age, like having a sibling in their 60s or complaining about having worked at the same place for 25 years.

If I remember right, Marx wrote to Lincoln basically as frontman for the International Workingman's Association, so from Lincoln's perspective, it was just this side of a mass mailing from some European interest group. I think it wasn't even given to the US ambassador to Britain until early 1865, by which time Lincoln is both busy overseeing the climax of the war and also doesn't have a ton of time left on the clock.

No that's pretty much it. They can be themselves publicly and proudly.
Refreshing my own memory gab got a huge boost last year among the freeperati because of Parler getting it's hosting options yanked.
I was also just introduced to the phrase "alt-tech" which I guess is another word for "Conservative safe space on the internet".

I didn't eat or sleep for a week, then they finally got me to eat and drink liquids. They later told Chris that I was in severe delirium. After about 3 weeks, my mind started coming back.

As always, the desperate Democrats/RINOs are constantly just making up stuff.
President Trump obviously isn't perfect. And I've disagreed with some of his policies or views on certain topics. Nevertheless, his Administration was a big step forward for America (as opposed to the big steps backward by the prior Obama Administration and subsequent senile Sleepy Joe Administration).
I would prefer better Republican candidates than President Trump. But there aren't any right now, AFAIK. He seems to be the best one available and he's ready and willing to again do the hard work to Make America Great Again. Why would any sane American voter want anyone other than President Trump in 2024? However, I'm always open to other Republican or conservative prospective candidates who are even better than President Trump. But where are they? Who are they? So yeah, I'm sticking with the hugely successful & hugely popular President Trump.

Here’s an idea: The fascist press has completely abandoned rural America. There are zero newspapers in these areas reporting local news. So, start a four-sheet broadsheet. Get local advertisers and start publishing once a week.
There’s plenty of conservatives living in these rural areas. Organize them. Get some money from them for a start-up newspaper business. Start publishing now.

I know people like this. They will hear no criticism of Donald Trump (who I consider the best President since Reagan, but, let’s face it, is no perfect person). It’s a downright religious fervor at work.
I think they are conflating the man that was used with the One that used him. God uses flawed tools because that’s all there is to pick from, after all.
