Am I misremembering or didn't some other Twitter wrestling news wannabe originally try the "I'm being stalked by AEW stans" poo poo on Twitter a while back, only to have it backfire on him when some dude who was a fan of his said he reported it to law enforcement (which meant that the dude would have had to show some proof of the alleged stalking)

I'd ask what purpose they think lying about the numbers serves. In this hypothetical you've convinced a bunch of marks that a lot of people are buying your PPVs. Is the implication that they're somehow lying to Discovery or advertisers/other business partners? I guess if Tony Khan is running ROH shows illegally he would try to get away with anything! Surely any day now his crimes will come to light and justice will be served.
