I wonder where they will play Jenkins. If Bak ever returns I expect Jenkins to be the RT. Seems like the left side of the line is stable so maybe leave Yosh alone and just let Jenkins be RT for the year whether or not Bak comes back. Then maybe Newman goes back to RG but Zach Tom is the hype rookie that I hope they kick there. Hanson didn’t impress in his chance to claim RG.

At one point the guys who won't be on the Vikings roster for game one pushed back the guys who won't be on the Raiders roster for game one so that the guy who will watch Dalvin Cook run could make a few long runs himself in a game everyone will forget as soon as now.

I cheered.

I guess the Packers either think Bakhtiari will be back by Week 1, or they're really confident in Nijman at LT.

I can't decide if this is better or worse than when Biscuits was staring down an impossibly-open target in the end zone.

...you forget so easily...
instead of one super open target he has at least three open-enough targets (maybe a fourth deep right?) and does that instead. I think he could have just ran it in at one point too it's pretty solid clownball on both sides

He had a few missed opportunities. It will interesting to see if he's better on week four. There's very little chance he had much teaching under Zimmer.

Mond was a four year starter in college and never really fixed any of his many issues so I don’t think he’s going to suddenly figure it out in the NFL.

You know he’s played football before this game right?

Here’s what the SI scouting profile said about Mond

quote:

Some will convince themselves that this is a next-level starting option with some refinement. Then the shortcomings bring back reality. There is an absence of next-level throws to the middle of the field, seriously affecting his consistency to stay in rhythm. Mond is a mechanical thrower who lacks flexibility to throw from varying platforms in the pocket. He is a mess inside the pocket, seemingly frantic when forced to manage pressure. Mond will ultimately be coined as a “developmental prospect with high upside,” but his inability to win within pressure threatens his abilities to stick long term.

Someone should overlay that Star Wars crawl style over that video.
