You can use an Arduino to emulate a Pro controller to print out an image line-by-line. I’m in the UK and I guess it opens at midnight local time? But without the training room all you can do is wander around, pick your Splatfest team, and look at the weapons in the inventory and be sad you can’t try them out yet

The demo is live in that you can play the tutorial and roam around Splatsville. You can make posts too. It’s certainly a lot more lively than the older hubs.

I found that there was 0 physical difference in the body between a Squid or Octo, boy or girl, which is cool. The only thing that changes is hair style options since the tentacles are technically different. I don't remember that being the case in Splat2n.

Yeah I don’t notice a ‘are you a boy or a girl’ prompt on the first screen either, which I think was in the last game. None of the new octo haircuts were too exciting for me so I may still to the OG sort of Mohawk. The lil’ buddy haircuts however are fresh.
