I have on occasion done surveys and focus groups for candidates and political stuff where the only language to describe yourself politically is a unipolar axis from "very liberal-somwhat liberal-moderate-somewhat conservative-very conservative" and it makes me want to break down and crazy laugh like Sam Neil at the end of in the mouth of madness.

Vought probably reminds them constantly that their lifestyle depends on Vought marketing them successfully and the supes being too dumb or under threat of being lasered by homelander to try to break off from the company. One of Homelander's lines in the comics is "don't gently caress around in front of the money" something to that effect
