The author explicitly said it wasn’t intended to be pro socialist or capitalist but I certainly read it as primarily a critique of calculating self-absorbed actors working in opposition to one another despite their mutual interests.

I haven't seen e2 but HOTD appears so far to be continuing this tradition (only unnamed hookers and criminals show rear end) but it's ok because nobody on that show is attractive

All of the people in these tweets seem odd. Also, JK Rowling is a piece of poo poo, but media produced by monsters is virtually inescapable in our hell world. The only difference between Rowling and many others is she is she won't shut the gently caress up about her hateful, horrible opinions. The real takeaway from this is that twitter was a mistake. JK Rowling should have just retired contentedly to a comfy chair while occasionally reading the newspaper and thinking “wait they said WHAT about gender” to herself, and no one should be looking for a social media consensus on how author X is affecting Our Children. Simple as.

The final month of GOT was incredible for going in to work Monday morning and seeing people seething angry and wanting to just unload about dothraki death charge, unable to see poo poo, Arya winning the whole war, dany forgetting about boats, etc etc
