Technically you can eat bacon "raw" since it's already been cured. It's just much nicer to eat when it's cooked and hard and crispy, and the heat brings out its flavors. Conversely, you could also boil jerky if you want it to be softer, or just soak it. But that's more necessary for old-fashioned salt-preserved foods that are classically too impossibly salty to eat without getting rid of the salt first.

You know how marketers want to make all sorts of products based on movie color scemes? For example the chocolate + strawberry ice for spiderman there. Still haven't tried it. Well with Frozen they wanted white and blue. Can you guess what flavours of ice they used for that? It is vanilla and vanilla with food coloring. Technically not bad, but really lazy.

 Three problems, here 1. The fact that Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Doritos exist 2. The price 3. They SUCK like holy poo poo how did they gently caress this up so bad!? I'm pretty sure the only hints of Cool Ranch flavor are placebo I bought them only because I was sure that #1 and #2 would be enough, I wasn't expecting #3
