it turns out that a Canadian spy was smuggling teenagers into Syria to become ISIS brides. The spy in question went to Canada's embassy in Jordan in 2013 to apply for asylum and was told that instead of getting asylum he had to go back and became a spy in IS, in exchange for which he might get Canadian citizenship in the future.
