It really depends on the seed, some look far better with lower step counts, others with more. There is a vague connection between steps and color saturation and reflections. Usually more steps gives you more vibrancy and reflection. For shots I usually stick with 768x512, then just slam prompts through till I get a car mostly in frame. Then iterate on that seed, switching the car itself but keeping the seed in order to have a better chance at keeping the car in frame. This tech is good enough and I feel I have a good handle on it that most outputs are good, but I will push through till I get something better.

It came out really well I think, as did all of KakerMix's images. A few minutes to clean up the extra headlights/wipers and it's a perfect Imperial 500.

There's a guide here (just ignore the name) https://rentry.org/GUItard

Mostly just praying. Making the images a bit wider seems to increase the chances a bit. I haven't tried reusing the seeds as I think KM suggested.

Not very familiar with JGTC or the different Tempo versions but this seems like a decent guess at what that might've looked like

This looks more like a Tempo-inspired LeMans race car.

The Tempo was a hateful little machine in all it's variants, but far better than the cars it replaced. Interesting that the AI said, "gently caress that, here's a Mustang."

This is more fun then when I drew cars all the time as a kid. As mentioned this is absolutely rad as poo poo and off the loving wall bonkers with its capability. If you have a decently powerful GPU you can run this on your own hardware, with this being the absolutely best guide out there, apologies on the 4chan language used in it. I have a 3090 because I'm a VR dork, so I can spit out a 512x512 image at default settings in 4-5 seconds, with larger ones approaching 15 seconds. None of these ones I've posted have been retouched or brought in photoshop or anything, they are fresh out of the robot printing press.

Wow.
Those are all amazing. The Bladerunner one and the Neon one especially catch my attention. The '96 GN is an interesting attempt (I mean that in a non-sarcastic way.)

I spent all night loving with this 77 Viper and honestly had a ton of fun doing it. The thing with "Viper" is its really powerful of a prompt, so it has weight behind it that needs to be blended down. These results are combined with Firebirds, TransAms, Cobras, Challengers, Daytonas, and even the Bricklin. My favorite, the last one, was combined with the AMX, but brought into img2img to up it's Viper a bit more. Also the firebird emblem on the hood is essentially an impossibility at this current time without doing it manually outside of the AI. We got some stripes at least!

and my favorite:

This still has a V-10 as the long hood is needed to cover it, Chrysler jumping the gun on a production V-10 by many years. Electing to not go with a shaker hood, instead its a two-piece part of the hood with a fiberglass portion over the firewall. Since this is 1977 it is during the fuel crisis and I have no idea what the power numbers would be, what the carburation would be like nor how choked by emissions it would be. Looks cool as hell though.

The 1954 Audi TT was a ton easier.

It's 1977 and this is the all out best performance car america can come up with at the time.

With a 488 cid v-10 it puts out an earth shattering 316 choked out hp and 372 ftlbs of torque. Because this is the performance car of the future, it has a FIVE speed manual transmission.
