Same here. When a pair of earrings didn't arrive, the seller convinced me to order a new pair (which I would have done anyway; I like the drat things) that they wouldn't charge me for. Surprise: They charged me for them. And those didn't arrive either. After I started a dispute, the seller messaged me, begging me to please, friend, ask the local delivery office, the package is in the country!! I replied with a screenshot of the post office tracking page doing a big  about my tracking number, which the P.O. had never heard of. It took two rounds of rejecting the seller's rejection of my refund request before Ali stepped in and gave me my money back.

All over $3 earrings, smdh. I fully expect both packages to turn up wedged next to a seatbelt buckle stem when some mail carrier's cleaning out their Jeep upon retirement. Funnily enough, the freebie that convinced me to buy another pair got here just fine. :iiam:

Some time ago, I got a rotating platform for photography. However, when I was trying to take a video of a statue that weighs about 2kg, it would stall and not rotate smoothly. So, I ordered this new platform, which at least promises to work with items up to 10 kg. It pretty much looks the same, but at least now, I have their promise of the capacity, so I can dispute if it does not deliver in this regard.

Just a heads-up for anyone in search of such a device: there are differences. I've seen turntables promising capacities up to 100 kg.

eBay, but I ordered a fancy 3 minute sand timer from India for like AUD$45 (at least half of it was shipping, IIRC). It showed up and... only went for two minutes. I opened a dispute saying "It only would have taken you 3 2 minutes to check this for its one and only function" and got a sob story back and felt kinda crummy so accepted a refund that didn't include the shipping. In hindsight I kinda wish I'd played hardball as it really was a very basic and easy to catch thing (and inconvenienced me a fair bit waiting for another one to come from a different seller), but ah well.

I wound up opening it up and pouring out half the sand to make it a one minute timer (which I use for my Aeropress), so not a total loss I guess.

how do I get ali involved? Seller keeps proposing return and refund.. which is bullshit. USPS says 44.75 to ship back $90 worth of product so i can turn around and buy it again and pay $10 for shipping on top of the cost of another one. I proposed to meet them 1/2 way and said out of the 3 panels I technically can use 1 so I'll accept a refund on 1 that was broken in transit. and 1 that was not as described.

I've had Ali side with the seller but I think it was that I asked for a partial refund for a missing charger plug from a xaiomi android box and asked for the cost of buying one separately because they opened the loving packet and took it out.
My offer was $15 or something for the cost of buying one of a similar quality but Ali sided with them for the cost of a bargain basement one of like $3

Just keep rejecting. My very first order was some pretty expensive chemical reagents that were near impossible to get locally.

They sent me sugar. They wanted it back, AliExpress staff felt that was silly. I got my money back no issues.

Just make sure that your dispute is very simple to understand, very direct, and that you include images. I find that including a screenshot of what the page showed, next to the actual thing, with text on the image explaining the difference is the best way to go.

Okay I'll see if I can add to my dispute and screenshot the page.

Looks like I can't update dispute (at least not on mobile) but did take a screenshot.

Basically this would cost me $15 to return and reorder+ 10 weeks.

Return Shipping to China is 44 bucks for $90 in product. Then I'd need to re order 1 with the promise of getting 2

A few months ago, AliEx sided with a seller over me in my first and only dispute over some $7 bluetooth headphones even when I supplied tracking info that said the item was seized for counterfeit postage and I supplied further proof from USPS that the shipment didn't exist.

I don’t wear watches but that’s pretty cool. I really liked the swatch beat / Internet time idea, I did look at buying a swatch on eBay but they were too expensive for something I wasn’t going to wear. I’ve never seen them on Ali.

I have a few different time apps including @beats on iphone but never really found a good way to use widgets that didn’t feel like wasted screen space, so they’re just all stuck on a page I don’t really use

$190 for the 6600M (a laptop GPU) that's been slapped onto a PCIe card. These have nearly the same specs as the desktop 6600, but the power limit is lower. You can manipulate that by +20% it looks like (to 120W instead of the desktop's 132W), and undervolting may possibly help improve performance more. The normal AMD drivers should work just fine with it, but who knows what odd issues you may run into from having a laptop GPU in your desktop. And good luck importing it from China.

edit: these also look like they use an almost identical cooler design to the terrible Biostar 6600 XT Hardware Unboxed looked at, but the video that VideoCardz linked to claimed that the card is actually quiet, so who knows.

It’s actually a really good deal lol. About $70 cheaper vs the real card here in the US.
