You'd think that since the story is that MTG got swatted by Kiwifarms and that's why they got shut down, that Freep would consider them all a bunch of leftists trying to take out a great American.
But since KF hated trans people I suppose they just dismiss the MTG stuff as fake news and consider them brothers.

So a couple of things, one is that this might not have even actually happened. The second is that KF wasn't necessarily behind it. However, that was one of the early claims was that someone from KF did it, which is why the site started getting a lot of media attention and it started getting dropped by hosts.

MTG may have swatted herself, or not, but I don't think that's the real reason why Kiwifarms is getting shut down. The big reason why KF is getting shut down is actually Keffals, a transwoman who has been targeted by them for a long time, running a huge campaign against them.
The actual last straw was when she fled to Ireland to escape doxxing and KF found her again and started making bomb threats to a bunch of places in Belfast.

Oh I don't think it's necessarily the real reason either. But I do think that the initial claims people were making that KF swatted her are what got news outlets to pay attention to the site, and then they found the terrible poo poo that the site was definitely doing. Then that negative attention made Cloudflare and friends go "Oh it might look kind of bad now that we can't plausibly deny knowledge of it" and they dropped it.

The thing is that KiwiFarmers are the type of psychopath that falls into reactionary politics precisely because it gives them an excuse to go after people and don't really care about the ideology beyond that. They can absolutely go after someone on their "side", especially if it's a big target, because gathering scalps is the actual point.

I have no Facebook account…nor any other. I was banned by Twitter the same day my president was banned and 1000’s of others. I was in shock. They hosed up the grammar (should be “Scheiss”, no “e”), but they also are using some pretty sophisticated vocab (“esser” is “eater” like a person, “fresser” is an animal, common in insults).
So they had one complicated thing English speakers usually gently caress up correct in a nuanced way, right after messing up a really basic how-to-compound-noun thing, and this is German so compound-nouns is like 8AM Monday morning stuff.

I searched a bit for the origin of this quote but couldn't find this quote either, might have just been phrased differently but  at doing any extensive research to disprove a freeper. Amusingly they get substantial pushback in the thread. Even if it's true you could read this supposed quote as propaganda in support of the Revolutionary War: The white landed gentry could keep all the money for themselves, thus no longer being a slave to the crown

I am going to give to you a short history lesson and I promise to make it as short as possible:
How much haughtiness and arrogance is required for a nation of people to put the word, “Great” in their name?
Most of the nations of the world hate the U.S.A. and Great Bitchin’. I’ll try to explain why that is:
01. ) We had to run them out of our country TWICE!
02. ) Then, if that wasn’t enough, we had to bail them out TWICE!
03. ) Then we had to bail them out of the Falklands.
There have been diplomatic and political blunders throughout history but THE biggest blunder of all time is when we STILL agreed to be chummy with them.
04. ) They have been run out of almost every country in Africa.
05. ) They have been run out of China.
06. ) They have been run out of the Middle East thanks to T. E. Lawrence and his blunder/s in Iraq.
07. ) They have been run out of India.
08. ) They have been run out of most countries in Southeast Asia.
They are STILL trying to tell us how to run our country!
Among other things. they are the reasons why most of the rest of the world hate Great Bitchin’ and because we are so chummy with them that is why they hate us.
If we were to cut all ties with Great Bitchin’ and while it would take some time, the rest of the world would soften their hatred of us and eventually come to like us.
Ideals, values, and traditions are in the heart, not in Great Bitchin’.
Are you aware that they still refer to us as ‘defiant colonists,’ and still look down their noses at us?
I do not think that you have ever traveled to Europe. If you had then you would have adopted my attitude, also. I can assure you that they are THE most haughty, arrogant peoples on the planet.
As an aside which is totally unrelated to all of the above, every time I hear some subject of Great Bitchin’ say, “Across the pond,” I would like to wring his neck. ;-)
If all or some of the above does not sway you then you may be delusional or simply do not want to wake up to the truth.

It is unhealthy when humans put other humans on a pedestal so high they are worshiping them.
They do not have to use the phrase, “You are a god”, to be doing so. Just act like a kid does towards a hero and it is worship.
This is what I see from Americans and some creepers today over the Queen.
