This would be funny if it weren't so terrifyingly bleak. The CCP's propaganda is so ham handed, and poorly executed. Who is this for? It's clearly for the foreign western press, as otherwise why get a "western" influencer. Who believes it/falls for it? I mean even the influencer must know, as he/she was there when it was filmed, but who of his audience says "I saw a clearly uncomfortable little girl dance whislt being watched from outside the window. Clearly there is no oppression here." And on the dancing. I am a child of immigrants. Both my mum and my dad are first generation immigrants. So growing up I have been in a lot of immigrant families homes, and attended many more big events etc. And rarely did even the old people pull out the old "ethnic dance from the motherland" poo poo. Maybe deep in the night a drunk uncle would put on some Carnatic music. But not often. Which is yet another thing that shits me about these propaganda "look, we let them do the silly dances in their own homes, and eat non-Chinese foods. How dare you say we are oppressing anyone" videos/stories.

Those two dudes who did the adventure riding around china did a video on that a few weeks ago. They take time roasting a few "influencers" who are clearly doing PR. They also might have been the ones interview "digital no mads" that explain they no longer do promoting for china goverments because they get very demanding. and that was before the whole genocide thing going on. I dont go into cspam. But why would they melt down? Russia is a autocratic/oligarchy they left communism willingly. There are only 4 (on paper communist countries) Cuba, Vietnam, North Korea, and china. I also had to look up the term tankie. How the USSR sent tanks into Czechoslovakia. Even though they didnt really revolt. The Communist party in Czechoslovakia kinda followed the rules. Arguing that they were a more industrialized and thus further along the communism than less industrialized nations and thus were closer to post communism etc. The Soviets didnt like that.
