Ruth Bat-Seraph was born near Jerusalem, Israel. She was raised on a special kibbutz run by the Israeli government after her power manifested. Ruth was the first superhuman agent to serve with the Mossad (the Israeli secret service). She became a police officer in addition to serving as a government agent. Her first public act as Sabra was a battle with the Hulk, whom she mistakenly believed was working with Arab terrorists operating in Israel.[2] Not long after that, Sabra was chosen as a pawn of Death in the latter's game against the Grandmaster. There, she met Iron Man and the Arabian Knight, and battled She-Hulk and Captain Britain.[3] She later appeared at the Hulk's amnesty ceremony in Washington, D.C.[4] Some years later, Sabra's young son was killed in a terrorist attack. She disobeyed orders in order to bring her son's killers to justice.

Lmfao

Sabra was brought on the site of a hostage taking where the Israelis for Anarchy and Windstorm were besieged in a kibbutz with the deaf son of an American ambassador. She ended-up depowering and leaving an agonised Windstorm, and saved the boy.[7]

i dropped in on my wife/her friends watching Our Flag Means Death again and it reminded me why I liked the show. it just sort of takes for granted that queer people exist and doesn't make a huge deal out of it or set anyone on a pedestal. makes me really happy to think about how there will be more shows like that in the future (mainly for her to enjoy and me to tag along on)

Both are Disney movies, so if Cameron pulls off the underwater scenes he's embarrassing another Disney production

of course I'm not the first person to think of this

https://twitter.com/samosasaurus/status/1568592449542524929?s=20&t=R4L2gwnxzBw0k0SxhFXYNQ

people in the comments saying that both movies are just trying to be realistic. The bottom of the ocean in a haunted boat wreck will look murkier than the shallow seas of Pandora. Because both of those are real places that exist.

Cameron was willing to go to the deepest part of the ocean to research for Avatar 2. Disney research just Googles things and then sends emails to the VFX staff to change a scene in the last minute.

arguing in a not racist way that as a species dwelling at the bottom of the ocean and recieving little sunlight, mermaids would realistically have evolved pale skin

Execpt that a zero effot HD port lets you play a game on more readily available modern hardware. The originals are all on Streaming, 0 utlity vs at worst a marginal utlity of a videogame remaster
