I refuse to learn what that is, but I assume it's drawing from the same bad ideas well as Facebook and Tinder and all the others that make that dichotomy. The only time a binary Liberal/Conservative question makes any sense in the UK is if you're asking someone about their support for the Corn Laws or Chartists.

I lost my job early 2020 and had the no-questions-asked for sixth months which ran out late 2020 and I started needing telephone interviews that moved to in-person in late-mid-2021, where they had bought a new office in order to socially distance offices and had a bunch of safety stuff including aircon units sucking air upwards from each cubicle. You weren't allowed in unless you passed a bunch of questions about your health. It was actually reassuringly safe.

There was a point last year where even though all appointments were over the phone, they had staff go into the jobcentres to make the phone calls "to make the jobcentres look busy" The way UC works on their end is that they get a list of outstanding poo poo you need to do on the system and it tells you how overdue it is. Not likely to get through to something as old as 2020 any time soon I'd imagine so should be alright for a bit. (I used to work on UC, ironically, they wouldn't give me the job full time though)

Had more than a couple of times where a claimant used their google translate to tell me that the official service dude was just popping off at him in some Eastern European national rivalry rant and not actually translating anything they're meant to.
