The tweet claims the window isn't dark in the reality show clip, and other differences such as the boy being aged up, which is about as convincing as it gets since it's inherently hard to prove timing of when a reality show clip was initially filmed relative to a scandal. It's a brilliant idea for a trick. e: In fact knowing about this trick brings into question the supposed closure to the Trump piss tape clip that CSPAM found. In case you missed it, a goon noticed a 4chan user was linking 3 clips from multiple video hosts from January 2019, of Trump with pissing hookers, and these clips utterly failed to get many views thereafter. No one cared. A similarly British reality show episode (from February 2019??) was eventually found to feature that clip, explaining the computerized "faking" of the clip as a prank. The delivery of the bit was oddly unnatural-- very quickly the hosts did this awkward "oh, you think the internet is a source of truth? Here's another example (among several)! Hey look at this convincing clip of the sitting US President watching girls pee on a bed, you think it's real don't you dummy? Well sike it's NOT! WE just made it! Here's that clip being composited together in our software in lots of steps! We just FOOLED you for all of 5 seconds! Pranked!!!" Like, honestly why would anyone have done all the research required to make all the hotel room details match up, then hired someone to do relatively state of the art deepfake software methods shown, throwing in anti-leak-tracking tactics like filming a device with another device, for what amounted to a 30 second throwaway example/joke that the rest of the episode ignored? Better yet how does this square with how it turned out the internet (besides one CSPAM thread) completely ignored the leaked clips, implying that the reality show therefore made no attempt to make their "prank" go viral before it aired? Zoom into the window he's climbing out from and count the "segments", and then compare to the number of segments on an equivalent window of Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is 1x3 whereas the window in the video is 2x2

John le Carré/David John Moore Cornwell (former UK intel dude turned author) was on NPR in 2015 explaining that if there was a compromising tape of trump there'd be a deluge of stuff talking about how easy it is to fake people into videos to cast doubt on any real video and that's basically all that's happened since then with a bajillion deepfake things flooding the internet/pop culture
