Dunk Bot 3000 posted:tortellini is early spring/summer and gets replaced by chicken noodle soup for fall/winter, rip The tortellini pasta is good, but the old Greek chicken pasta (made with rotisserie chicken) was better. Had an anticipation yesterday was going to end in “nobody wants to cook” hangriness, so I tossed a frozen Kirkland lasagna in the oven at 4:30 (two pack, not the giant one). Nobody went hungry and there were leftovers for lunch today.

I went to Costco this week and I got a hotdog and Mug root beer, a covid booster, some Pendleton blankets which are cozy as gently caress, and the kimchi I have seen advertised in this thread. That stuff is really good.

The Kirkland Canned Dog food is considered top tier, my dog absolutely went ape poo poo for it, but he has a sensitive stomach and the vet recommended a limited ingredient diet so I had to stop giving it to him.

You can fill out most of the info online so that makes it a little faster. Pharmacies have staffing issues just like any other place. All the walk ins they get put more stress on them on most days where they already have too much on their plates.

Yeah, I was in the other day at the pharmacy and overheard a lot of people trying (and failing) to do walk-up appointments. Keep in mind that the vaccine is frozen, so they have to prepare ahead of time to have doses available, and they can’t refreeze it.

rootdown posted:Do they include everything a normal Costco caries in inventory? No, definitely not. They carry very different things, with some overlap for common goods like paper towels, toilet paper, milk, eggs, etc. You miss out on cool snacks, prepared foods, consumer goods/electronics, etc., but instead you get boxes of candy and gum individually packaged for resale, commercial kitchen equipment, whole lamb carcasses, etc. I always recommend checking out a business center if you have one nearby; the one near me never has a line and I always prefer going to the business center when I just want some milk and eggs or other similar sundries.

One thing I like about the business center is you can buy cases of drinks in single flavors vs multi flavor packs.
