Except of course for our richest, and therefore most trustworthy, citizens who were probably only arrested through some unfortunate misunderstanding and ought to be allowed to relax at home with their families while this all gets cleared up.

However, the people out of state behaved with basic human dignity and treated those asylum seeker like people instead of props and got them the help they needed, but the assholes are still acting like this is some huge own because ????????

Just ordinary people, who nonetheless really stepped up, managing to rustle up food and fresh clothing for the visitors, find lawyers to advise them, doctors to treat those who needed medical care, get the relevant officials on the phone, and make the people as comfortable as they could until they could be brought somewhere with the resources to house them.
