Actually since there are attorneys in this thread, I am curious about something. How do you deal with this issue if you represent a real company? Do you hand over a cleaned email backup with a disclaimer that certain materials were withheld because of x y and z, or do you hand over everything and provide notice to plaintiffs + the FBI about the contents of emails with message IDs a, b and c? I mean I would assume in most cases, as an attorney you just do a keyword search for relevant terms and hand over only certain emails. But I have to imagine this is an issue sometimes.

Yeah no one is allegeding Infowars even knew about the CP. It was sent to them by some anonymous account, and there's zero evidence anyone at Infowars even glanced at the email, never mind the contents. Just sitting unread, along with thousands of other emails in the server till plaintiffs plowing through discovery found it.
