I think the opposite will happen, Giselle will divorce him before the end of the season and he'll be fueled by so much spite and a weak NFC to play another five years and make at least two more Superbowls.

I feel like Jerry has only gotten worse about his management of the team since the mid 2000s.

Jerry is basically a Saturday morning cartoon villain version of 2000's Al Davis at this point but he has Will McClay as his exasperated hypercompetent sidekick/henchman who constantly puts together decent-to-good drafts year after year that keep the team mostly respectable instead of deteriorating into a terrible laughingstock like they probably should've by now.

Anyone remember the Disney channel movie Angels in the Outfield? The premise is that a kid is in foster care and he asks his deadbeat dad when the dad will man up and actually adopt him out of there and the dad says "When the Angels win the pennant" as a way of saying basically "It'll be a cold day in hell" but then the kid prays so hard that God sends actual angels to help out. Christopher Lloyd is the main angel, it's charming for a kids movie.

Anyway, the point of that ramble is that Tom Brady is the kid in foster care, and Giselle is the deadbeat dad.

Oh, really? I saw it on Disney Channel first, so I just assumed.

According to Wikipedia, It made $50 million on a budget of $31 million, not bad.

The Saints are going to lose to Rhule. I can only assume this is part of a bigger strategy to keep him employed and ruin our franchise further.

I'd think Marshall not doing a drat thing when he got playing time contributed along with the injuries, but I'm with you that it's irrelevant either way.

Yup. Offense just can't click with all of our star WRs out. Defense has been playing lights out and keeping us in these games.

I had to deal with an emergency at halftime and frankly I didn’t expect to miss much because the Packers offense was doing whatever it wanted. But the Packers didn’t score a single second half point. What the hell happened?

Their top WRs were Allen Lazard and a rookie 4th rounder. Once Tampa figured out how to shut down Aaron Jones the Packers didn’t have anything to threaten with.

Probably got conservative because they knew the Bucs couldn't move the ball.

To be fair the same thing kind of happened in the regular season Chiefs game in 2020 when the Bucs gave up a billion yards in the first quarter and then not much after.

That was much worse, Mahomes had over 450 passing yards. They moved the ball pretty well most of the day.

The only real macro level concern for the Bucs yesterday is losing the head to head tiebreaker to a team that will be in the hunt for the 1 seed because most of the issues on offense can be easily explained by being out their top 3 receivers and their starting left tackle. And their backup left tackle too.

Yeah, I'm not too worried. Being without your top 3 receivers and 4/5ths of your OL from last year will definitely hurt production. As long as the defense continues to play well they should be fine.
