[I want to] shit in your fucking mouth. [I'm going to] slap your fucking mouth. [I'm going to] slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. Fuck you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you.

I think Tua did actually hurt his back. He ran a QB sneak in the first quarter and gets folded over backwards in the pile. He's clearly in pain when they untangle the pile and he almost doesn't get up, and staggers a bit standing up when he does. The staggering was really the only reason to assume he got the concussion, the hit itself was pretty mild.

It's possible the neurologist missed the concussion, but he did a bunch of extra non-mandatory media after the game including stuff before they left the field, I'm sure if there was any question Miami wouldn't have let him do that either.

i said this in the NFC North thread, but the bears need to back up a truck to sign garoppolo next season. guy grew up here, everything he knows about quarterbacking is from watching lovely rear end bears quarterbacks, i believe he is the only quarterback that can succeed at Bears Quarterbacking by doing as little as humanly possible.

We know how this would play out. The Bears sign Jimmy G to a huge contract that everyone knows is an overpay, naming him the starter. They got 2-4 before Jimmy gets hurt and misses over a month, where Chicago goes 1-5 behind the still hobbled body of Justin Fields and (Spins wheel) C.J. Beathard. Jimmy returns, initially rusty, but pulls off some wins late in the season (Including against Minnesota, but not against Green Bay), and they finish 6-11.

In the previous two games this season the Titans offense looked good for one drive and then petered out. Today they got three good drives and a couple ok to mediocre ones in the second half. This is progress. Maybe by next week downing will figure out that Geoff swaim and Cody hollister should not be seeing snaps.

The raiders are not good, man.

You over estimate how much teams care about a players health. There will be a minor kerfuffle while the PA sort of cares then it will go away just like Russ leaving the tent.

To be fair to the Broncos’ and 9ers’ putrid offensive outings, their defenses both own.

Trent Williams also got rolled up on during the safety, and the Niners couldn’t keep the pocket clean after that, which didn’t exactly help
Jimmy any.

Niners also had some terrible fumble luck. I think I saw a Bronco receiver fumble the ball and it literally bounced directly back up into his arms. All sorts of poo poo like that.

It's time to go back to the era of protracted, impossibly sad QB competitions. Gimme Jimmy G and (spins wheel) Baker Mayfield each doing 6-8 week stints as starting QB over the course of three seasons as Eberflus waffles back and forth between which one is Our Quarterback
