I really liked playing the Gears of War games with my friend in college. I recall that 2 was a lot more lenient with sections that separated players, which was nice. 1 was a pain at points because someone would die during the separate sequences and it would be an instant game over.

I've fallen into the wormhole that is listening to Touhou music and holy moly jim bob boley I now understand why the fan sphere for this series has eclipsed the actual games. There's so many different stylistic covers for these tracks and they all whip major rear end.

I decided to read one of the books in my small unread books pile. Not a cat cozy mystery this time though. Gonna try to get through this instead.  I've tried 3 or 4 times now but had trouble getting past the first chapter. Master & Commander is not a bad book, I just have trouble with keeping up with books. I love to read but my brain doesn't always cooperate with it. My brain tends to shut down and I get real sleepy so reading is exhausting. Really want to read the Aubrey Maturin series though so I've gotta push through the exhaustion.

Where I was doing the grinding part there were hardly any flyboys. It was mostly mechanicals and dragons and plants and bashuras. HOWEVER I think the random encounters are linked to who your formation is. If I chose a specific group I could almost guarantee to get a specific set of enemies! Is this the case?
