there is a tiny scrap of beach at the end of sanibel island where the only bridge to capitiva island is located. it was already eroding rapidly and requiring millions of dollars a year in sand transplants and erosion protection just to keep the rich people connected to the mainland. this storm is probably going to cause so much damage to that area oh my god.
