pretty much. unfortunately the way america does flood insurance is stuck in peak 50s brain where of COURSE you can conquer basic aspects of nature with grit, flurocarbon compounds and dredging/infill. no one wants to rock that boat for the same reason no one wants to rock any boats: america is a F.I.R.Economy and it's all hinged on keeping the same dumbass rules forever because changing them would screw the investor class

don't get me wrong I get that Floridians are perfectly capable of being idiots, and that everyone in this godforsaken country has a death drive that will keep them from evacuating in these situations on top of all of the financial reasons not to. You can right click on the white borders of the window that opens up and view page source to get the mp4 or image link, these are from Cape Coral 1 hour ago. This removes the text over a video for some reason

I like mustard BBQ too, mustards in general are just great. Vinegars are supreme tho, only ones you can find that are actually spicy without being some tourist trap extract sauce
