Rumors are the Minions people farted out their usual stuff for a test screening and it went so bad Nintendo basically forced everything get buried and redone. We'll find out if it's just a polished turd or what (probably a polished turd, these are still the Minions people and it's a cast of Crisp Rat, Always Sunny, and Jack Black like ffs the kitchen ingredients here are bad to start), but either way you can bet your rear end a fuckton of underpaid animators have been living in crunch hell over it.

I think a lot of teenager comedy being "good" comes down to timing and focus, and I think that sketch actually does a decent job of both. The whole sketch is about the jacket guy, and the gags flow into each other pretty well. It's creative and well-made, and doesn't rely on screaming, so it's better than a lot of what's out there, I think.
