Tom Clancy's books were good until about 1991 when obviously his material sorta dried up. e: the best books are The Hunt for Red October, The Cardinal of the Kremlin, and Red Storm Rising. Patriot Games is okay but a little bit author insert fanfiction-ey. Without Remorse is sort of fun for all the pleasure boating stuff and the campy Death Wish thing. Rainbow Six is so bad it's good. It is absolutely insane how good drone cameras are on every level. From relatively cheap consumer drones on up to entirely non consumer drones, it just gets more and more ridiculous. Every now and then some footage from one of the really high end drones gets released and man it's wild what they can do and from what range.
