OJ owes far in excess than he is able to ever make or has ever made, so that's not exactly the best metric. He's also been in prison for a decade, so god knows what his actual finances are like now, but I wouldn't call his post-trial existence one that's been marked by financial security and comfort. You can't squeeze blood from stone, after all. Jones can't tie things up much further in court simply because he's hosed up too early, too often, and too flagrantly to make a difference. He has a right to appeal (but he has to post a bond) the damages portion which may take a bit of time but that's unlikely to go well for him or delay it very long. His company is already in bankruptcy which isn't going well for him because he hosed around and is finding out what happens when you try to act in bad faith in front of a court. And he has actual liquid assets that can be seized which, while it won't fill a cool billion, is still a fuckton of money all things considered. Like every attorney or law-adjacent person watching these cases proceed have been aghast at how badly everything is going for him in ways that fill them with existential dread.

I don’t think Jones has access to the specific loopholes OJ used to avoid having to pay up, and as far as garnishing his paycheck goes, I think they can get a court order to gain control over his bank accounts if he doesn’t pay willingly. Of course, Jones being Jones I wouldn’t put it past him to just pile up all his current assets (trucks, money, brain juice pills) and burn them simply to give the plaintiffs the finger.
