Grade 2 is worse than grain 1, and carries an expectation of 3-6 weeks of recovery time. Not good.

I figured Boston was gonna lose this one since it's their third game in four nights, and the second of a back-to-back. But even with all of Boston's injuries, letting a team like Ottawa drop 7 goals on you is Not Great. I guess on the plus side they also scored 5 goals. Also saw Vancouver blew it again. Pretty funny

I’d like to complain about our core and how they’re mentally weak but how could they not be after Jim lead them mercilessly though 8 years of Promethian hell? I can’t imagine they have any more hope than we do. We really need to shake up the core for their sake as much as ours. In summation: I still blame Jim.

Good to see Torts actually trying to make this team care about their play instead of just giving up like they did last year.

I don't want to take anything away from the Canucks setting the record for most losses in a row with a multi-goal lead. But I gotta give the title of "Worst Team in the League" to the Sharks who have not looked good for a single period all year, and are full of old players on lovely contracts with no help in sight. Really depressing five games from those guys in an insanely weak division.

Jamwad Hilder posted:I don't know what Grade 2 means, in terms of groin strains. Is that better or worse than Grade 1. A grade 2 strain tears a significant proportion of the muscle, and takes longer to heal, but it should heal in time without intervention. A grade 3 strain is a complete rupture of the muscle, and usually requires surgery especially for athletes. The boundaries between 1 and 2 are a bit blurry and a matter of judgement. (Sprains are essentially the same thing, but with ligaments and not muscles).

The islanders are definitely gonna score a lot more goals this year under Lambert as opposed to trotz, they're allowed to do stretch passes now and with two living defenseman replacing Chara and Greene they actually are doing really well on possession Whether or not this more open style will actually make them a better team remains to be seen but they're certainly more watchable now for regular season hockey

Best case scenario they have cost themselves millions of dollars on his next potential contract.
