Agreed. He also does some great physical comedy when he falls down the ladder while working on Viggo. He wiggles on the floor with magic lighting shooting up his arm and totally sells it.

Seeing the farce the Hasbro Aliens Pulse Rifle pre-orders have degenerated into I am concerned the exclusivity of the Proton Packs might be walked back. Lol at the scalpers of course but it will be annoying if I gave them a hefty wad of cash for my order only to see people with theirs from 3rd party sellers before mine arrives.

Funnily enough the only thing that comes close for me is same composer Elmer Bernstein's score to the short film bits of Thriller. The moment at 01:55 where Michael Jackson says "There's something I want to tell you - I'm not like others guys - No I mean I'm different " https://youtu.be/sOnqjkJTMaA Sounds a LOT like the music at 01:30 in the turning shot where Dana is talking to her Mum that eventually reveals the glowing door https://youtu.be/jqQ8fU-zUxo. I always assumed it might have been intentional reprise as both moments feature raising tension immediately preceding attacks by dog like monsters.

Wow! My thanks to you, Mr. Buttermilk. I'm definitely gonna have to listen to that whole score but I certainly hear what you're hearing. I can't believe I never dug into this myself, I must have missed it on his filmography somehow when I was digging into his work. I'm glad Black Cauldron came after GB or I would have to write a whole thing about how you can hear antecedents and blah blah blah… as it stands, I'll probably be able to just line up some interesting examples of familiar-sounding music and harrumph, well, what do you want, it's Hollywood.

Yo Spirits Unleashed is fun. It's a bit buggy, but the gameplay is solid. I've got over a dozen games under my belt - as a buster and as a ghost. I don't know if the AI is bad or not, as all the games I have been in were full.

I never watched the Black Cauldron before a few months ago, when a friend of mine said the score sounded like GB and gave me timestamps to specific moments (we both have Disney+). I was blown away by how similar they are, it's nuts.

I bought Spirits Unleashed and I've been playing it a bit. I'd give it a C or C+. It's not great by any stretch, but I am having fun busting. The music is the best part imo, they did a good job of staying close to the film's score but being new. The worst part is optional challenges, they are too hard and tedious. The central mechanic is that you are too weak to bring down a ghost alone, so you need back up. But you have to split up to track them down and then regroup to catch them. I'll play it another week or two until I get bored, but on the whole, I'd say you could spend $40 in worse ways.
