Comfy and cozy.
Justin's "No. Now shut up, my NPC's aren't just going to sit there and take your horseshit" energy has been a glorious alternative to Griffin's doormats and Travis' railroading. Not quite digging the Steeplechase setting, but I will happily stick around if he's as equally snappy with all his other characters.

The only real character in Steeplechase, NPC or not, is Justin. And that's just fine.

Justin is actually a surprisingly good DM and I’m kind of living for this setting which is like Blade Runner 2077 filtered through the Disney Company.

Worked for me yesterday, did they pull it for some reason?

Listened to all the available episodes driving to a tournament. It seems pretty good, but for whatever reason I can't seem to really get into it? Definitely a big improvement from what I listened to for graduation though that's for sure

Not always so
I feel like 90% of the runtime is them trying to figure out how the rules work.

There is a non insignificant amount of time of them going over and a bit of debating rules, but that’s to be expected for a new system for the audience. Also it seems like Griffin has read up on it pretty extensively as well and is acting as a sort of helper GM which is nice. I’d expect rule talk to fall off as we move forward and new systems are being brought in for the first time.

I dunno. I worry they're not gonna be able to resist doing some dark dramatic reveal where the animatronics look like his family who all tragically died in a bus crash or something. At least for the time being I'm good with Montrose just being a weird little freak.

I think I found where all the goofing that should have happened in Graduation and Ethersea went.

It all got shoved into Spookington Manor.
