God damnit now I kind of want to write a slice of life TTRPG. Zero combat. Just mundane everyday poo poo like getting your friend a date or selling your Adderall prescription for a profit.

Sadly, today's Luann refuses to be uploaded to the alternate host, so Some Guy TT will not get to read first hand how Tiff is probably fine and the alleged burglar probably didn't steal anything and nothing ever happens in this strip.

I think the Les in the background rattling off a dramatic version of finding Tiffany as if he is on a cop show is the only time Luann has successfully made me laugh at a gag.
This strip is still very bad.

newspaper mods please change the name of this strip to...I dunno, "The Boring People Hangout Hour."

Rex Morgan, MD has not appeared in Rex Morgan, MD in a month and a half. He was last seen in the 9/11 Sunday strip (:911:) in a wordless cameo. The last time he spoke on panel was two weeks before that, when they put a button on the "Married seniors have dueling cardiac episodes" series. That was also the last time this strip was about medical drama in any way.

None of this matters in the slightest; newspapers are dead, funnies are dead, this forum is dead. But your author is clearly done with the premise of "a small-town doctor interacts with patients," just acknowledge this and say "Alright this strip is now called 'Glenwood, USA' and it's just going to be a pleasant, low-key, toothless slice-of-life domestic dramedy going forward."

MEANWHILE: Buck still likes old-time country music and comic books.")

No, it'll be with the wolf boy using dna gathered from his shed fur when driving. The baby will be a wulfencar who looks like a character from Pixar Cars but with a tail and ears.

That will grow up and in 18 years time be hosed by the catrhino to produce a legally distinct catbus with a rhinohorn.

Excuse me, but the catrhino will clearly get together with some rabbit to make the first ever tri-hybrid.

The wolfcar will get together with the batcupine to make a flying car that shoots quills.
