Agreed, the swings are more noticeable than with normal deck-building. Still, it's pretty fun since every band should be in the same circumstances. Rivals+ with added cards from the extra decks mitigates a little the swings if each player has some. We actually did an event in my local store where we bid on universal cards from the Deadly Depths Rivals Deck, it was very fun.

That's definitely their only new model but the new rules are gonna be huge, especially Mournfangs getting resistance to Unleash Hell and Gluttons getting MW hits passively.

At this point if they make the other half of the Ogre range viable its like getting a whole bunch of new models!  If the new Slaves book and Ogre books have decent internal balance I'm in trouble. As a Slaves to Darkness player I'm kind of sad the book leaked early. It just looks so incredibly well designed and fun. I was perfectly happy with my old book. I'm in the middle of a league that lasts until the end of November, and now I'm sad that I'm probably going to have to play my busted old book until the end of the league.

Huh... this announcement actually disappoints me a bit. It's so close to the release of the last expansion, people are still sour over having to buy the separate mini's, and now they're gearing up to do it again already? And these aren't even new SBG minis, these are old Grave Guard & Wight King models. And, unless they're for some reason holding this back as a surprise, no new heroes. If the first box was what they originally had planned for expansion content, this feels like (just first impression) what they struggled to put together during COVID restrictions.
