just watched mystery of the wax museum, a cool pre-code 2 strip technicolor horror film. loaded with really beautiful shots and sets. the fire scene in the beginning of the movie is incredible, but the plot was pretty dumb. it was a good halloween season watch.

I saw lost highway for the first time.in a bajillipn years. Cool movie. Also forgot about a lot of the funny lines/scenes like "you like porno? Give ya a boner" "that guy gets more pussy than a toilet seat?" And ofc the hole road rage sequence about highway safety.thanls

Mainly because at the end of the day you cannot say that Venom: Let there be Carnage is longer than 90 minutes.

Watched Peter Jackson’s Ling Kong again over the weekend. It kicks rear end imo. Also watched Coppola’s Dracula film. The practical effects were amazing and it rules he committed to doing it all electrically when all the losers who worked for him said it had to be done by computers. Weird film though, but I guess the source material is too.

Saw a Dario Argento double feature last night, Dark Glasses and The Bird with the Crystal Plumage. Dark Glasses was a bit of a letdown imo, though the relationship between the main character and the kid was cool. Bird still owns and has a ton of fun characters and bits in So Long, Filagna, the artist Consalvi, the art shop owner who follows the main character around the shop too closely. Just a lot of fun to watch.
