Chubb's only 26, so I don't get it. This isn't doing a solid for a 32 year old Von Miller, this is a guy the Broncos drafted in 2018. They haven't re-signed him yet, o presumably, anybody trading for him has to pony up significant compensation and give him a big ol' extension.

Chubb is in a contract year and probably lukewarm on resigning with Denver. Why not extract as much value as you can instead of playing franchise tag for the next two years?

Best seats I ever had for a Panthers game were about 4 rows back, on the Panthers sideline, on a straight line in front of where that injury happened on the sideline. Saw it, heard it, could almost FEEL it.

Yeah I'm guessing that they trade him if they already decided that they would not be willing to resign him to a megacontract because he's missed time or they're cheap or whatever their reason is.
