Is NASCAR gonna ban it? With how well that worked, it's pretty clear that if you don't want to get passed like that at Martinsville on the last corner, you have to do it yourself. 25 cars banging into the wall to finish the race? I'm all for it.

I don't see why they would ban it. It's such a rare thing that it would have a purpose to even attempt and also pretty likely it would fail most of the time. But Nascar hates fun so I'm sure there will be a new rule that you can't gain an advantage hitting the wall... Part of the problem though is having a short track be the last race in a set of playoff races, pretty much just asking for drivers to do stupid poo poo to make it to the next round. Either riding the walls or just wrecking the competition.

I have watched and been to shitloads of NASCAR races in my lifetime and I have never seen anything like that move, not even close. He went full send and it was brilliant, when I first saw it I couldn't even comprehend it at first. Taking out Hamlin right at the line was icing on the cake. That move will live in infamy because NASCAR will absolutely ban it, it will never happen again, and the drivers that have a problem with it are just jealous they don't have the giant balls that Ross does. Rather than another rule with gray areas like the yellow line and locking bumpers, if they wanna discourage that from happening again, do something to the track to make it not-an-advantage to do that. Not saying they should change anything at all, that was cool, and it'll be funny to watch ten Xfinity drivers try to replicate it unsuccessfully in the spring, I'd just rather not see another judgment-call rule in the books
