Always liked the Mark 8. Still wouldn't mind having one with exhaust and moving the ride sensors to lower it a bit on the air springs.

Mark VIIIs have always been cool. One will forever remain on my "Really Dumb Projects" list. Hell, with just a little* work, they'll do 180 mph. *"little" is relative

Look cool just sitting there, though... And here I am wanting to put air ride on my Crown Vic (fairly easy. The struts for the front are a bit pricy, but you can use factory bags in the rear.)

Guys over there bought them cheap, swapped the bags for shocks, tuned 'em, and then blew them up. Great fun while they lasted. Gave the local Lexus crew something to think about.

TIL about Walter Treser https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2016/10/wild-wacky-world-walter-tresers-audi-based-creations/ A Quattro turned into a convertible, and the engine tuned up to 250hp? And thats a super clean survivor, being actually driven about? Very correct thread

Icon built a W109 300SL Derelict with an LS9 for a customer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMOBECkR5lk Lovely custom Morrison chassis. Like most Derelicts, it appears stock inside and out aside from the wider/larger wheels (which are factory-appearing, but are custom one-piece aluminum) and tires despite a completely new frame and floorpans. The detail they go into making knobs and gauges and such look original is very satisfying.
