Anyone in here that has watched the Warriors this season think that there's any case at all for not sending Wiseman to the G League?

On the 1 hand, this is a dumb hill to die on, on the other hand, the feeling of superiority from being stubborn is pretty great.

Do yall think kyrie is atleast good with his money? How many wings top does he have?

ADL said that they won't accept Kyrie's cash until he kills more Palestinians and at least one journalist.

He looks like rookie year ayton. It's probably hard to get minutes on a team that wants to win but there's no point sending him to the g league. He needs to get clowned on to improve

This game is the first I've seen the starters show visible annoyance with him. Which, considering his role in blowing a 16 point lead, isn't too surprising.

Only reason to ever send someone to the G League is if they legit don't have the conditioning to play. No one's skills are gonna meaningfully improve there, or more accurately, he'll improve more in practice against NBA players than he will in games and practice against whatever talent the G-League scrapes together night to night.

Dunno, 14-4 in the last 5 minutes, starters seem like they're doing alright.

These traveling calls suck to watch regardless of who they're called on though.

edit: nevermind they just gave suggs a completely wide-open three

Do you think he'll improve there? Serious question, not trying to be flippant but it seems like his problem is being lovely on defense so do you think spending time in the G League helps?

I haven't heard anything so I assume he's doing polite no comments.

The coaches told him to stand and not jump, so that is what he is doing on D. He will figure out a solution, hopefully. Before he was all over the place but fouling a lot, now he's just a roadblock and picking up fouls and getting scored on.

They traded away everyone else, they need him if Looney gets in foul trouble.

Agreed, the Dubs are painfully short on bigs. Wiseman's just been such a massive liability so far, though.

That said, the team's a mess in general right now.

I think he might, honestly. He's lovely on defense, fouls a bit more than he needs to, and it just seems like a lot of the time he gets rattled a bit easier than you'd hope. Honestly wonder if his mental game might shore up with a bit more play/confidence.

I about lose my mind when Wiseman continuously mishandles an easy lob or just straight up bricks a dunk.

If you're watching on NBC Bay Area, it's made worse by how badly Fitz and Bookie want to talk him up.

catching up on the sas thread. can't believe so many of that wokescold nest of sensitive dorks - who repeatedly called Embiid "toxic" for saying Ben Simmons stopped shooting in Atlanta - are arguing the union shouldn't allow the nba to punish Kyrie for promoting antisemitic hate speech and nazi ideology because "he didn't use a slur like Ant or Myers Leonard." lol.

if Gordon Hayward changed his Twitter header to the stars and bars and RTed some guy saying slaves were actually treated well and showed no remorse I wonder how they'd react

I think back to an old post from a teachers union head. Some grievances are handled all hands on deck (think - guy gets benched right before hitting obvious contract milestone when he should have. I think the As just did this in baseball with Elvis Andrus?)

Some grievances are handled Friday 4 PM

unions have a duty of fair representation but they don’t have to represent everyone . it’s complicated

I personally don't think it would help, the problems seem to me to come from being shook against NBA bigs and he's going to have to sink or swim in those waters to overcome it. I'd like to be wrong but it's looking less and less likely. They definitely need to find a deal on a defensive specialist like they do most years, if anything just to personally teach this guy.
