Game is fun. I’m still deeply in Pool 1 started out mainly with a reveal deck, now trying a bit of Zoo. Slightly annoyed the season pass seems to have started „misaligned“ with the launch, and may skip it if I don’t manage to get a few more ranks this weekend. This also corrupts the screen (which then stops updating) with small purple squares on my 2018 iPad Pro, so it’s unplayable there.

I bought the season pass and will be scrambling to at least get to 40 for spider-woman. Already have Miles variant. Should be doable as I’m already to 33. I wish I could dump as much gold as I want to refresh dailies. Also wish they’d integrate iOS login into Steam.

I'm a little late, but for movement decks, I strongly recommend teching in Scarlet Witch to slag a location that causes you trouble. Some locations, such as Fisk Tower, will shut you down instantly and you need to have a counter for that.

Don't be predictable. I was hardstuck at 60 for like two days I was deep in pool two and could basically make all the top tier decks, but an epiphany shot me up to 90 and if I have enough time to play I'm positive I'll get infinite. This wont be a revelation for people because if you really think about how the game works, it just becomes obvious, but as I struggled to climb it wasn't obvious to me. If your opponent can see your last cards like they are face up, you cant get much value from anything other then the bots and worse players (of which there are less and less of as you climb.)

I just earned the easiest cube of my life. Turn 1, opponent plays Nova on middle location. Start of turn 2, middle location reveals as Wakanda and opponent retreats.

Had a match where the locations were Sinister London - Mirror Dimension - Bar With No Name. Mirror Dimension turned into Bar. Never had a match of a card game where playing cards was a bad idea. Also had a match where my opponent confidently 8-snapped and slammed down his Shang Chi to destroy my Devil Dino...on the same lane where he had played an Armor earlier.

I spent three turns building a +6 multiple man earlier to have my opponent casually drop the Shang Chi. Suddenly I'm sitting there with just a lone Forge in play. But yeah, I couldn't even be mad. Drop the fist bump and leave

To be fair, Collection Level is higher up on the screen and gets you cooler stuff to play with... (It's also like 80% of the basis of the matchmaking. First CL, then Rank only secondarily.)

I've been hovering at rank 79 just trying to make it to 80 before the end of the season and then I lost 16 cubes in 2 matches because apparently everyone is playing Shang-Chi now and I'm on tilt so I have to stop for a little while. It feels like the bots are cheating a little bit. I've noticed that when I'm on turn 6 and have a card that would pretty much guarantee victory for me bots have a tendency to retreat as soon as I place it on the board. if it takes me 20 seconds to think about my move, the bot waits until I've dropped the card on the board before retreating.

I thought bots didn't snap or retreat? Honestly I noticed it when I first started but at this point I don't think I ever get matched with a bot, unless they taught them to emote

Trying to play a Discard deck in Pool 2. Is it me or does Sword Master or Blade always discard the card you don't want discarded? I'll play SM with Swarm, Apocalypse and Enchantress or whatever in my hand, figure well it's a 2/3 chance. Without fail every time it's enchantress. Just played like 10 games trying this archetype and it seems like the RNG just hates me.

Of course then I get matches where one of the locations is "On Reveal Effects Happen Twice" and I'm able to drop Lady Sif, Blade and Swordmaster with Apocalypse being my only remaining card in hand. ...And then the opponent retreats.

As someone who has most or all the Pool 2 cards for Discard (?), it's fun, but I don't think it's as consistent as I'd like. I'm thinking of trying Destroy instead...
