I would rather listen to AC/DC’s overplayed hits than Queen’s overplayed hits ten times out of ten, but Queen have far superior deep cuts.

My parents almost defaulted to naming me Angus after the AC/DC guy, like some kind of contract they signed with the devil to have Angus Young's soul transferred over if they couldn't decide on a name before I was born. Except they just signed it with each other and it was a cute joke. Uh, I think.

Something that’s definitely not going age well is the choice all those parents made to name their kids daenerys.

Does Aerosmith's Dude Looks Like a Lady get much play these days? It was about Axel Rose entering a bar Tyler was in, and blurted it out.

It’s still a regular on classic rock stations.

Speaking of aging Aerosmith, I saw them live a few years ago and they had someone doing back vocals for all the high pitched parts that Steven Tyler can no longer reach I guess. It was quite refreshing to hear Tyler thank him several time during the gig for "making him sound so good", though.

Deep Purple have been doing something similar now Gillan's well into his 70s, not because he can't reach the notes but because he needs to rest more. Instead of using backing vocals they use the breaks as an opportunity to showcase the musicians in the band, and so they don't tire out they also bring members of the support act back out to jam. Media that definitely did age well.

There's really nothing you can do in situations like that when you've got 70-year-old rockers trying to sing songs they wrote when they were in their 20s (except retire, I suppose). Art Garfunkel was able to hit the high notes in Bridge Over Troubled Water for almost 50 years, but his voice has gotten a lot weaker in the last couple years on account of literally being an octogenarian. It's gonna be interesting once we start getting 60s and 70s bands composed entirely of replacement members who joined in the 90s and Millenials.

Yeah, there's several bands that have no founding members left, but I'm struggling to think of any that don't have any "classic" members, per se.

Jon Anderson's voice is still pretty decent. He turned 78 last month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpNiRb99Kus Anderson seems to have taken very good care of himself. He's into some offshoot hippy-like spirituality thing and seems extremely upbeat about everything in life these days. Maybe that's the secret. Or Rick Wakeman might have been right and that Anderson is from another planet.
